CD Submission covers the cost of listing your album on the Simplie Indie store. CD Submission includes one album in any or all of the three possible formats — CD, digital download, and ringtone — that you decide to produce. It's so easy: for $25 you can sell your music online.
You need to purchase a separate CD Submission for each album that you wish to sell online.
Merchandise Setup is a one-time fee that covers all merchandise, other than your music, that you want to sell through the online store. You can add items at any time in the future with no additional fees. Go ahead and get wild — would your listeners enjoy a T-shirt, poster, apparel, or sheet music that promotes your music?
A bar code is required by virtually all retailers because it allows price and ISBN information to be optically scanned; however, Simplie Indie does not require you to use a bar code.
A $75 value, the ISBN + Bar Code Package includes an ISBN (a unique code for every edition of every book) and a bar code (price and ISBN information in machine-scannable form). Simplie Indie does not require either an ISBN or a bar code, but many other stores and retailers do. When you purchase an ISBN, your book is automatically registered with Bowker, the company responsible for maintaining the Books in Print database.
